How to bake the best blueberry muffin

Updated: May 6, 2022

These delicious blueberry muffins are super moist, soft and packed full of berries. I love just how quick and easy they are to make.

This recipe is one of my personal favourites. Sharing this recipe with you now brings back the early childhood memories of our family having a morning tea picnic surrounded by the berry vines. We would chat and laugh about our day while drinking a warm cup of tea and of course munching on the best blueberry muffin!

For those of you who miss having this recipe printed on the back of our bags following our latest packaging redesign, here it is....

Sujon Blueberry Muffins

2 cups of flour

3 teaspoons of baking powder

1 desert spoon of custard powder

1 cup sugar

1 cup of Sujon Frozen Blueberries

2 eggs

1 cup of milk

3/4 cup oil

Sift flour, baking powder and custard into a large bowl. Add sugar and Sujon frozen Blueberries.

In another bowl, beat eggs, milk and oil together. Fold this mixture into the first bowl.

Try not to over mix it.

Spoon into greased muffin tins and bake at 180 deg c for 15-20 minutes.

Dusting with icing sugar is optional.

Blueberries are one of nature's best superfoods, and British Columbia in Canada makes some of the best in the world. We proudly source our nutritious and delicious blueberries from the BC region. Studies show that since blueberries are frozen soon after they are picked, they are equal to quality of fresh blueberries where antioxidants are concerned.

If you have a favourite muffin recipe you would love to share, we would be keen to hear from you. #sujonberries #poweredbynature #bcblueberries
