Sujon Jelly Gummies!

Fruit gummies are very popular with children. You can make your own at home with frozen fruit and our fruit powders. They are a fun snack and a great way to include the health giving properties that Sujon Blackcurrant Superfood Powder has to offer.

Ingredients:

2 cups boiling water

3 tablespoons Sujon Blackcurrant Powder

2 tablespoons caster sugar

3 tablespoons Gelatine

1 cup defrosted Sujon Blueberries

Method:

Sprinkle gelatine, caster sugar and Sujon powder over boiling water and whisk until all dissolved. Keep whisking as it cools and when warm pour into moulds or bowls of your choice. We poured the first half of the jelly into heart moulds and with the rest into a bowl with added Sujon blueberries and left to set. Yum!

It is a thick jelly as we wanted to make the small heart moulds into jelly lollies or “gummies”. If you want more of a soft jelly use 2 teaspoons of gelatine instead of 3. This makes about

25-30 bite sized jellies.

Get adventurous and try other frozen fruit and powders to flavour your gummies. We do recommend you stay away from Mango though as you may find it won't set properly.

Recipe lovingly created for us by Anneke Jenkins.
