Why go rainbow?

The best general advice seems to be ‘go rainbow’: make sure your diet has plenty of colour and variety. Because what we now know is that the pigments creating those natural colours in foods signal protective compounds in the foods that are probably good for us as well.

Eating the colours of the rainbow with plenty of fruits and vegetables in the diet reduces the risk of coronary disease, contributes to heart health and a normal immune system function, and contribute to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue.

Doesn’t everyone want more energy in the morning?

And as part of that philosophy, and especially with summer coming, we have launched our Sujon Berry + Veg Mix: a unique blend of Boysenberries, Blueberries, Raspberries and Spinach all straight from our grower’s fields. All of our produce is freshly-frozen (uncooked) to lock in the naturally green, purple, red and blue goodness.

What we can tell you is that it’s a good source of Vitamin A and C, a great source of Folate, a good source of iron and magnesium, a good source of fibre, naturally gluten free, and packed with vitamins and minerals.

Who wouldn’t want to make this mix a part of their everyday superfood smoothie regime.

But most importantly: the team at Sujon think this makes the best tasting smoothie you will ever enjoy: the berries selected plus the spinach go amazingly well together: a flavour yin-yang. ENJOY!
