Quinoa and Blueberry breakfast cereal

2 Cups non-fat milk (or unsweetened almond milk)

1 Cup quinoa, rinsed

2 Cups Sujon Blueberries

1/2 Cup chopped Almonds

1/4 Tsp. ground ginger

1/4 Tsp. ground nutmeg

2 Tablespoons maple syrup


1Place milk and quinoa in a medium saucepan and bring to a boil, stirring occasionally.

2Reduce the heat to low, cover and simmer 18 to 20 minutes or until most of the milk has been absorbed.

3Remove from heat and let stand covered for 5 minutes.

4Uncover and stir in blueberries, almonds, ginger, nutmeg and maple syrup.
